Mystics Apprentice rates this game: 5/5The best Final Fantasy EVER made!!!I don't normally replay games that often, but I can safely say that I've replayed Final Fantasy III 3+ times! The story is brilliant, the characters amazing, the soundtrack superb and the gameplay flawless! The gameplay is quite similar to that of Final Fantasy IV (II in US) except some things have been enhanced, as well as the graphics. It's a typical RPG, with so much more. The storyline to this game is what truly makes it a masterpiece. All of the other Final Fantasy stories are 'good' but there was something about this storyline that just made it awesome. All the characters have unique, detailed pasts, and how they're all intertwined with one another on their quest to stop the Empire from recreating the devastating War of the Magi.At the end of the game, there is a total of like 16+ playable characters to choose from, so with a selection like that, you're bound to come up with some combination that you like. This was pretty cool, so that I could keep my favorite characters and leave out the ones I didn't care for - weren't helpful.I honestly cannot give this game enough credit.
Try it, you'll like it!
James rates this game: 5/5A Millennia ago, a fierce battle was waged for control of an idyllic world known as Pureland. After much fighting, the brave warriors of Pureland were protectively sealed in their own dimension, away from the rest of the universe. This was done by means of Talon, a powerful space craft capable of traveling through both time and space. Centuries have passed and the would-be master of Pureland have managed to create a rift in the galaxy, sending the Pureland Water Entity to devour all that stands in its path. You must journey through past, present, and future to find the 13 pieces of the now-divided Talon. Only then can you save the universe from total destruction. Mystics Apprentice rates this game: 4/5The best Final Fantasy made for the gameboy and not a bad Final Fantasy altogether. The gameplay is more similar to one of the 'real' final fantasies that you'll find for the SNES or the PS.
The difficulty level is also more doable than some of its previous games and actually pretty average. It pretty much is a basic RPG with nothing that signifigant about it, or anything that truly makes this a unique RPG. The way to acquire spells is sort of unique, but nothing all that special. The storyline is very good, especially for a game as short as this one. Sophocles the theban plays penguin classics pdf to word. I was quite impressed, and found it very enjoyable. The characters were also quite memorable.
And to me, an RPG is just not good unless it's got a good storyline and a cast of characters.Overall, the game was fairly good, even for a gameboy game. I'd highly recommend it to any RPG or Final Fantasy fan. Morrick rates this game: 5/5Although it was given the name Final Fantasy, it's not at all part of the Final Fantasy series. The series' japanese name, and future english name, is SaGa.

Because of this, don't expect to see reoccuring characters or themes from the Final Fantasy series. That being said, the game is still a great game. It plays similarly to Final Fantasy, but has some unique twists in story and gameplay. One prominent feature is eating monster meat or installing robot parts, which transforms you into a monster, giving you some techniques that only monsters can use. The storyline revolves around time travel, and a dark mist that spreads across the land, creating monsters. It's a great play, I've owned the game for many few years, and it's one of my top nostalgic games to play.
